Salsa Fresh Mexican Grill in Raleigh

Tried to call in an order and I got put on hold that I drove to the restaurant, placed my order and had it in hand and I was STILL ON HOLD!!! LOL I finally told the cashier that she could hang the phone up now that I had my food. Yes, it was petty, but I'm a stickler for customer service. She giggled and said that she gets distracted easily. Ughhhh. Lol

California burrito with the new spicy chicken and hot salsa was wonderful! Freshly made chips also good. Ironically, they were out of the little cups of fresh salsa that we love, so I tried the brown stuff (not as much flavor) and the hot (more heat than flavor). Still a great meal.

It's in the name. We love this spot because the ingredients are fresh and the service is great. Try the breakfast burrito 🌯

Salsa FreshThis used to be one of our favorite places. We'll never eat there again. The last few visits we noticed the food was meh, floor was dirty, all the tables were dirty, etc. Our last visit about two weeks ago was the final straw. Not long after covid reopening started we were appalled to see once again a dirty floor, all tables dirty, and the food we got was just ok. Definitely not worth braving the environment. To top it all off the staff were all just standing around playing on their phones while guac (originally we thought was barf) languished on the floor near the drink machine. Hope they get their act back together as this used to be a classic north Raleigh destination.

Quick and fresh as the name implies. You can certainly get better tacos and other bits elsewhere, but I don't know anywhere else you can get a burrito "chimichanga style" - deep fried and covered in cheese.

Horrible food and service! I ordered from this place using Doordash. When I called them to ask for a modification, they didn't even let me finish what I had to say and put the phone down (didn't hang up, just let me mumble without responding) twice. The chips were severely under cooked. The veggie grill burrito is actually a bean burrito with a couple of vegetables thrown in. Disappointing!

This is my go to for 100% Authentic Mexican food whenever we visit the Raleigh N.C. area. Everything tastes homemade. I wished so much they would expand to many more locations. Such friendly service and prices are very fair. 100% a great place to eat or to get takeout.

What a disappointment !!!! Everything was so bland from the meat to the chips being very soggy. We ordered quesadilla, tacos, nachos and the meat and chips were the biggest disappointment. Taco Bell compared to this place is definitely a 5 star. The owner and staff lacked respect/kindness to the customers and the place need some serious cleaning especially during this time with Cov-19. The price we paid for the food do not justify the food that was ordered.

Delicious nachos, as well as burritos (be sure to get them "enchilada style" if you like cheese/sauce & are hungry!) Salsa bar as well with a variety of spiciness. One of my favorite local lunch places! Could eat here for every meal! Must check out.

I love this place. The food is good and consistently so. The salsa bar is fresh and delicious. Usually quick service. Great guac! Have some games to keep kids entertained.

Stopped by for lunch after hiking the greenway. We have been customers for many years. Door was open, it was 11:02am exactly. We were told to leave, that they “were not open yet”. We turned around and left and drove straight to Chargrill. Had a great lunch. Might be awhile before we return to SF.

This place is a bit of a hole in the wall, but we have ordered from here for years. The food is always freshly prepared. We usually get burritos and they are very filling. I love their salsa bar, which is complementary with any order. Their tortilla chips are among my favorite!

If you want to taste Mexican food with seasoning,, I highly recommend you DO NOT eat at this restaurant. NOT AUTHENTIC IN THE LEAST!! The spicy chicken has No flavor what so ever. The beans were bland! Absolutely tastleless. The corn chips are bland as cardboard. Lack common salt. Even the green peppers and onions taste like dish soap. Wilted lettuce. Disgusting food. Terrible service..just plain laziness.... I wasted my money, gas and time!!
